Network Communication Embedded Software Engineer

As part of Bosch’s innovative engineering teams, you will contribute to the development of next-generation automotive systems. In this role, you will design and develop embedded software that ensures reliable communication between advanced vehicle components, from radar and video sensors to automated driving systems.

• Develop and maintain embedded software components focused on automotive network communication (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
• Analyze and troubleshoot communication-related issues in complex embedded systems
• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and global teams to align technical solutions with product requirements
• Contribute to software quality by participating in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities
• Implement and execute module and integration tests, including hands-on debugging on target hardware
• Support the creation of clear and structured technical documentation

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in embedded software development
• Proficiency in C
• Good understanding of microcontrollers and debugging tools
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
• Very good English skills (written and spoken)
• Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work in agile and collaborative environments
• Willingness to learn and grow with new technologies
• Team player with strong communication skills

• Experience in embedded software development automotive is a plus
• C++ is a plus
• Familiarity with Ethernet/IP-based communication is an advantage
• Exposure to software testing frameworks (e.g. Google Test) is a plus
• Understanding of automotive standards (AUTOSAR, ASPICE, ISO 26262) is beneficial
