SAP Business Analytics Support Consultant - SAP BW, SAC and Power BI

Roles & Responsibilities :
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Support
Provide L2/L3 support for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories, applications, models, dashboards, and planning-related solutions.
Troubleshoot SAC data connectivity, data refresh, model, story, performance, and authorization issues.
Monitor and support data acquisition and integration between SAC and source systems such as SAP BW/4HANA and other data sources.
Analyze SAC performance issues and optimize models, dimensions, queries, and stories where applicable.
Support SAC content deployment and lifecycle management across Development, QA, and Production environments.
Power BI Support
Provide L2/L3 support for Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, datasets, and workspaces.
Troubleshoot Power BI report refresh failures, data connectivity issues, gateway issues, performance problems, and data inconsistencies.
Monitor and support scheduled dataset refreshes and data pipelines.
Investigate Power BI data quality and reconciliation issues in coordination with source-system and data owners.
Analyze report and dashboard performance and recommend improvements to data models, DAX calculations, queries, and report design.
Support deployment and promotion of Power BI content across Development, QA, and Production environments.
Support testing, release activities, and lifecycle management of Power BI reports and dashboards.
Validate Power BI report outputs against business requirements and agreed data definitions.
Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and automate Power BI reporting and support activities.
SAP BI
Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for SAP Business Analytics applications.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
Monitor system health, batch jobs, data loads, and report availability.
Investigate data quality issues and coordinate with source system owners.
Ensure timely availability of business reports and dashboards.
Develop or support minor enhancements to reports and dashboards.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
Identify opportunities to improve report performance and query execution.
Optimize BW queries, HANA views, and data models.
Recommend automation to reduce manual support effort.
Monitor system utilization and recommend capacity improvements.
Support user authorization and role-related activities.
Monitor background jobs and interface failures.
Participate in service review meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
Identify repetitive support activities suitable for automation.
Leverage AI, scripting, or SAP BTP capabilities to improve operational efficiency
Support global teams across different time zones where required.
Qualification
Educational qualification:
B.E / B.Tech
Experience :
4 to 7 years of experience
Mandatory/requires Skills :
SAP BW,SAP BWonHANA, SAP SAC, Power BI, SQL and Scripting
Preferred Skills :
SDS and Data Bricks
