UK and Ireland Tax Manager – 2 year Fixed Term

This is a wide-reaching role that will require an experienced tax professional to be working with teams responsible for the following core areas:

Tax Compliance & Reporting

• Manage the UK & Ireland Corporation tax preparation and submission process
• Support and advice business on VAT, withholding tax and other relevant tax obligations across UK and Ireland
• Oversee tax accounting, tax provisioning, deferred tax calculations, and tax disclosures for statutory and group reporting purposes

International Tax & Transfer Pricing

• Oversee transfer pricing policy, documentation, and compliance with OECD, Pillar2 and local regulations.
• Advise on permanent establishment exposure, withholding taxes, treaty applications, and international expansion opportunities

Tax Risk Management

• Support and maintain an effective tax risk management framework as outlined in Internal guidelines
• Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks associated with commercial transactions, restructuring projects, and operational activities
• Ensure alignment between the Group's risk appetite and tax governance practices including SAO obligations

Strategic Projects & M&A

• Provide tax support for acquisitions, disposals, restructuring projects, and business transformations and tax incentive programmes
• Partner with Finance, Legal, HR and other Corporate Development teams on strategic initiatives

Process Improvement & Technology

• Drive continuous improvement of tax processes, controls, and reporting capabilities
• Oversee and manage relationships with external advisers and third-party providers

• Be a qualified ACA/ACCA and ideally be a CTA specialist with proven and recurring success.
• Possess solid UK corporation tax experience and have strong awareness of UK and EU VAT
• Understand the demands and possess practical experience of working within a large international group is desirable.
• You should have great attention to detail, be numerate and technically competent.
• Have the ability to work under pressure, work well within a small team and have strong communication skills across all levels.
• A current driving licence is essential.

• Denham based with occasional travel required as needed (around the UK sites)
