Role Overview
The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities across enterprise prospects with support from sales leadership, marketing, and an Account Executive. Your efforts will help to expand our company's reach and drive sales success.
Your responsibilities:
Generate new business opportunities with Botify’s enterprise prospects by following proven sales processes and working in conjunction with sales leadership and marketing teams
Research and prioritize target accounts across Botify's core buyer personas (marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce, and AI/GEO search leaders) at the C-suite, VP & Director level
Collaborate with an Account Executive to identify and research companies and key decision makers
Develop an understanding of Botify’s AI search technology, value proposition, and industry trends
Execute multi-channel outbound cadences (email, phone, LinkedIn) to book qualified meetings for Account Executives
Maintain accurate account and contact data in Salesforce; leverage internal tools for deal intelligence and contact enrichment
Partner closely with AEs, Partnerships and Marketing on account strategy and campaign follow-up
Consistently meet activity and pipeline-generation targets
Your qualifications:
Passionate about a career in tech sales; prior business development, lead generation, or client-facing experience a plus
A strong desire to learn about sales processes and best practices
A technical aptitude for selling complex enterprise solutions, and an interest in AI search and visibility technology
Self-directed, metrics-driven approach
Strong communication, problem-solving, and listening skills
Bachelors degree
Nice to have:
Up to 6 months of experience in business development
Familiarity with modern sales tooling
Experience contributing to and being motivated by shared team goals

Salary:
$58,500 - $63,700 base salary + commission
