About the Role:
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing customer relationships while driving equipment sales across your assigned territory.
Representing a diverse portfolio of industry-leading products, you will work closely with farmers, contractors and commercial operators to identify opportunities and deliver equipment solutions that support their success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing an assigned sales territory.
- Building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Promoting and selling John Deere and other equipment solutions.
- Conducting customer visits, equipment demonstrations, and follow-up activities.
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing long-term customer partnerships.
- Achieving sales targets and market share objectives.
- Maintaining accurate customer and territory information.
- Monitoring competitor activity and industry trends.
- Supporting customer events, demonstrations, and industry functions.
- Working collaboratively with Parts, Service, and Branch teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
About you:
- Previous sales experience preferred but not essential, on the job training and support provided.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to business development and customer engagement.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a territory.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering results.
- An interest in equipment and machinery solutions.
- A valid driver's licence.
