Breeze is a payments company that provides businesses with tools to accept and move payments, manage treasury and access financing. Its teams cover payments sales, financial underwriting and treasury operations, with staff in New York, Singapore and Amsterdam. The company operates as Breeze, LLC and is headquartered in Bend, Oregon, United States.
Backed by Sequoia Capital

At Breeze, we're building the AI-powered infrastructure layer for global commerce, making it radically simpler for businesses to sell, get paid, and operate across markets.

We go far beyond traditional payment processing. Breeze combines global payments, AI, stablecoins, and a Merchant of Record-like model to take on the complexity businesses typically manage themselves, including compliance, risk, fraud, chargebacks, reconciliation, and customer support.

Our goal is simple: let businesses focus on building and selling great products while Breeze handles the complexity behind getting paid.

Backed by Sequoia Capital, Multicoin Capital, and The Chainsmokers, Breeze is a successful, rapidly growing, and exceptionally well-capitalized company. We have the runway to think long term while remaining early enough that every person joining today can have a meaningful impact on what we build.

We are hiring a Account Manager, Singapore!

As our Account Manager, you'll be the owner of our relationship with a portfolio of key merchants, helping them integrate with Breeze, go live smoothly, and get lasting value from our payment solutions. You'll combine the commercial instincts of an Account Manager with basic technical ability using AI, Reporting to our Director of Sales, APAC.

You'll work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Risk and Compliance to make sure merchants adopt Breeze quickly, stay healthy in production, and grow with us. As one of the first t account management hires in Singapore, you'll help build the function from the ground up.

We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, wants meaningful ownership, and is excited to build rather than simply maintain.

What You'll Do

  • Own the commercial success of a portfolio of key merchant accounts, driving adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Lead merchant integrations and go-lives end to end, from technical scoping and API, webhook, and checkout integration guidance to sandbox testing and launch readiness.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for merchant engineering teams: answer integration questions, review implementations, and advise on best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues such as payment failures, declines, webhook delivery problems, settlement and reconciliation discrepancies, and chargebacks. Analyze logs, API requests and responses, and transaction data to find root causes.
  • Escalate to Engineering with clear reproduction steps, evidence, and merchant impact, and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Own communication with affected merchants during incidents and degradations, working with Engineering and Operations to keep updates clear, timely, and accurate.
  • Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Forward Deployed Engineers on technical scoping and a smooth handoff of new merchants into account management.
  • Run strategic account planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, and technical product training, including regular integration health reviews covering success and error rates, latency, and feature adoption.
  • Create and maintain integration guides, runbooks, and merchant-facing FAQs, and use SQL, scripts, and dashboards to monitor merchant health.
  • Build, improve, and maintain CRM systems, client health metrics, and standardized reporting workflows.
  • Track and report on merchant churn rate, revenue growth and retention, client satisfaction, integration health, and adoption of new Breeze features.
  • Represent the technical voice of the customer internally: turn merchant feedback and integration friction into clear product and engineering requirements, and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within Payments or FinTech.
  • Experience working in scale-up and high-growth environments, and growing strategic client relationships to drive revenue.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with global Sales, Product, Engineering, and Risk and Compliance teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority merchant accounts, internal stakeholders from executive level down, and complex client issues and incidents effectively.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong debugging instincts and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments without an established playbook.
  • A builder mentality with a strong bias toward action.
  • Excited to use AI and automation to work smarter and rethink existing processes.
  • Comfortable getting into the details and doing the work, regardless of seniority.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Singapore.

Nice to Have

  • Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
  • Working knowledge of payments, including authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks and disputes, settlement and reconciliation, and how risk, fraud, and compliance shape payment flows.
  • Experience with crypto, stablecoin, cross-border, or multi-currency payment products.
  • Familiarity with Merchant of Record, PSP, or acquiring models and card network rules.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools, BI or reporting dashboards, and client health scoring tools.
  • Fluency in Mandarin or other APAC languages [to confirm].

Why Breeze

  • More than payments: We're building an intelligent infrastructure layer across payments, compliance, risk, fraud, chargebacks, reconciliation, and customer support.
  • AI from the ground up: AI isn't an add-on. It's central to how we're building our products and how our teams operate.
  • Successful and still early: We have meaningful traction and strong financial foundations while remaining early enough for new hires to have outsized impact.
  • Built for the long term: Backed by Sequoia Capital, Multicoin Capital, and The Chainsmokers, we're exceptionally well-capitalized with the runway to think big.
  • Real ownership: Lean teams, few layers, direct access to decision-makers, and the autonomy to make things happen.
  • Hard problems: Work at the intersection of AI, payments, stablecoins, risk, compliance, financial infrastructure, and global commerce.
  • Exceptional team: Work with ambitious, curious, low-ego people who move quickly and care deeply about what they build.
  • Room to grow: As Breeze grows, strong performers can quickly expand their scope and take on bigger problems.

How We Work

  • Act Now, Improve Later: Ship something real today. Move fast, learn from what happens, and make it better.
  • Disagree and Commit: Debate hard before a decision. Once it's made, commit fully and make the outcome right.
  • Customers First: When in doubt, start with what's most painful for the customer.
  • Own It, End to End: Don't wait to be asked. If you see a problem, take responsibility for solving it.
  • Default to Public: Share context openly so the whole team can move faster and learn from each other.
  • High Standards, Genuine Warmth: Hold the bar high and treat people well. Be direct, rigorous, kind, and low ego.
  • Outcomes Over Activity: We care about what ships, what works, and what moves the needle, not how busy you look.
  • AI Forward, Always Learning: Experiment with new tools, automate the repetitive, share what works, and continuously rethink how you can work smarter.

Compensation Philosophy

We believe compensation should be fair, competitive, consistent, and transparent. We benchmark compensation against the market and establish thoughtful bands for each role, with compensation reflecting experience, skills, location, role scope, and expected impact. We don't believe pay should primarily depend on how aggressively someone negotiates. Eligible employees receive meaningful equity, so the people building Breeze can participate in the long-term value they help create.

Benefits & Perks

  • Medical allowance: An annual allowance, prorated based on your start date, to support eligible health and wellness expenses, including health screenings, dental and vision care, insurance premiums, and eligible expenses for direct family members.
  • Corporate medical insurance: Medical coverage for full-time employees in our Singapore office, including cashless GP visits at panel clinics, specialist outpatient care with GP referral, and teleconsultations.
  • Gym & wellness: A monthly subsidy toward eligible fitness and wellness memberships, classes, and activities.
  • Productivity budget: An annual budget, prorated based on your start date, for professional development, productivity tools, books, courses, and eligible home-office improvements.
  • Equity: Meaningful ownership in the company you're helping build.
  • Equipment: A new MacBook Air and whatever else you need to do your best work.
  • Annual global offsite: We bring the global Breeze team together every year. Previous destinations include Bali and Singapore, with Japan coming next.

Benefits, allowances, and reimbursements are subject to applicable eligibility requirements, taxes, and statutory contributions. Benefits are not contractual and may be amended from time to time.
