Position Description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build a next-generation servicing tool and platform. The primary goal is migrating functionality out of a legacy Java and C#/.NET ecosystem into a modern REST and GraphQL architecture. The role is backend-heavy, with Go as the core language, plus React on the frontend and GraphQL integration. Experience with Java and with reading legacy code to extract business logic is highly valued. The position requires 8+ years of software engineering experience, microservices, AWS, automated testing, and the ability to work independently

Own complex full-stack initiatives while mentoring engineers and helping shape technical direction. Senior Engineers are expected to engineer solutions, challenge assumptions, and drive technical excellence.

The project involves building a next-generation servicing tool and platform. A primary objective of this team is migrating existing functionality out of a legacy application ecosystem into a modern REST and GraphQL architecture.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and implement scalable backend and frontend solutions.
• Participate in architectural design and technical decision-making.
• Develop APIs and complex integrations.
• Own production quality, monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate effectively across globally distributed teams.

Workplace: This is remote role, open to candidates based in Argentina only.

Tech Stack:

• Go: Core language for modern API services and microservices
• React: Front-end user interface development
• REST APIs & GraphQL: Integration with GraphQL API layers
• AWS (EC2, ECS, CloudFormation, IAM, monitoring)
• CI/CD, automated testing and Agile delivery
• Legacy C#/.NET applications undergoing modernization
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript for UI customization
• Relational databases
• Microservices architecture

Must Have Skills:

• 8+ years experience in software engineering which includes:
  • Strong at Go
  • Java engineering experience is highly valuable
  • Experience working with Microservices architecture
  • AWS and infrastructure experience
  • GraphQL: Integration with GraphQL API layers
  • REST APIs: Full-stack integration connecting front-end tools with backend REST endpoints
  • Relational Databases
  • Automated testing

Preferred Skills:

• C# / .NET: Ability to read, navigate, and analyze legacy C# application code for migration purposes
• Java: Experience reviewing legacy Java backend systems to extract business logic during migration
• Data Integration: Experience working with REST-based data streams and integrations
• Experience working with globally distributed engineering organizations
• Experience supporting large-scale production systems
