Lead Product Designer

Responsibilities:

• Own ambiguous, strategically important product areas from problem framing through launch and iteration.
• Partner with founders, product, and engineering to influence what we build, not only how it is designed.
• Turn complex research, data, and AI workflows into simple, trustworthy product experiences.
• Set a high bar for interaction, visual craft, systems thinking, and the quality of what ships.
• Create clarity when the problem is poorly defined, identify the important trade-offs, and move teams toward strong decisions.
• Stay deeply hands-on while raising the bar for other designers through critique, collaboration, and strong examples.
• Help shape the design culture, principles, systems, and ways of working as the team grows.

Requirements:

• Exceptional product, interaction, and visual design craft across shipped products.
• A track record of owning complex or high-impact product areas with substantial autonomy.
• Strong product judgment and comfort operating without a fully specified roadmap or PRD.
• Ability to influence senior cross-functional partners while remaining open to evidence and better ideas.
• Strong systems thinking, clear communication, and a high bar for the details of the final product.

Nice to have:

• Experience with complex B2B, SaaS, data, productivity, workflow, AI, or agentic products; or experience helping establish design practices in a small team.
