Bridgit is an Australian property finance company helping people buy their next home using property equity.

About Us

Bridgit is a leading non-bank lender transforming the way Australians access property equity. Purpose-built to make property transactions faster and easier, we pioneered the Buy Now, Sell Later solution - empowering homeowners to unlock their property equity and move on their terms. With a simple digital application, fast approvals, and flexible loan options, we're making property finance seamless and stress-free.

We're now five years old and making huge strides. We've accredited over three-quarters of Australia's broker network, and launched white label solutions with Australia's largest aggregators - Connective, Aussie Home Loans, Finsure, and Loan Market Group - and we're just getting started.

Our momentum has been recognised with awards including Best Growth Story at the 2025 Fintech Awards, the 2025 Finder People's Choice Award for Lending Innovation, Deloitte's Tech Fast 50 2025, and a place among LinkedIn's Top 20 Startups in Australia 2025.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own Buy Now, Sell Later, the bridging finance product Bridgit was built on. Reporting to the Product Director - Mortgages, you'll own the product's roadmap and performance end to end. That runs from understanding what brokers and customers need through to shipping improvements that make bridging faster, simpler and more competitive.

Must have experience specifically with Bridging loans (just to save you applying if you don't have it).

What you’ll do:

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap and performance for bridging finance, with clear success metrics across conversion, time to approval, customer outcomes and commercial performance.

  • Build a deep understanding of our brokers and customers, using research, feedback and data to find the problems most worth solving.

  • Use competitor insight across price, policy and product to identify where bridging needs to evolve, and bring clear recommendations to the Product Director - Mortgages.

  • Partner with Credit to understand how policy shapes the bridging experience, including peak debt, end debt, serviceability and valuations. Identify where changes to product and policy can improve approval speed and quality.

  • Get hands-on with solution design, including process flows, wireframes, prototypes and user stories, to turn concepts into developer-ready features.

  • Break large initiatives into smaller releases that each deliver value and build towards the longer-term roadmap.

  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Platform, Operations, Credit, Distribution and Compliance to deliver on time and to a high standard.

  • Lead testing and rollout, then measure results after launch and feed what you learn back into the roadmap.

  • Build business cases for significant bridging initiatives, with success measures defined before work begins.

What we’re looking for:

  • 6+ years' experience in product management, including ownership of a product or major product area.

  • Experience in lending (ideally residential mortgages), bridging finance and a working understanding of credit policy and the broker distribution model.

  • A track record of using data and customer insight to make product decisions and measure outcomes.

  • Strong commercial judgement: you understand how price, policy and product combine to win in market.

  • Comfort working closely with engineering teams and getting into technical detail.

  • Clear, confident communication with everyone from brokers to executives.

  • A proactive approach and comfort with ambiguity.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with bridging, equity release or specialist lending products.

  • Any exposure to tools like Jira, Trello, Notion, or similar.

  • Startup or scaleup experience.

Why Join Us?

Bridgit values its team, they are the heart of how we build this business. Along with competitive remuneration, slick offices and the chance to be part of an innovative, agile fintech, we also offer:

  • Extra Leave - we offer birthday leave + an additional day of paid leave to be used for life events, celebrations or just a mental health reset.

  • Two weeks from anywhere - we encourage employees to work remotely from a location of their choice for two weeks each year.

  • Learning and Development - all employees are encouraged and empowered to engage in professional development including a number of learning initiatives run internally.

  • Social events - we have a jam-packed social scene, with events throughout the year.

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you’re excited about reshaping the lending industry and want to be part of a company that values authenticity and innovation, we’d love to chat. Apply now and let’s build the future of finance together!

A heads-up that because we operate in the financial services space, any offer made will be subject to successful pre-employment screening, including reference checks and a standard police check.
