Job Summary

Brik Oven is looking for a skilled and responsible Shift Supervisor for our bakery production unit at Doddaballapura CK. The candidate will oversee daily production activities, including bread baking, dough preparation, pastry production, cheese-based products, and other bakery items. The role involves supervising the production team, maintaining product quality and consistency, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, and managing production schedules to meet business requirements.

• Supervise daily bakery production activities and ensure smooth shift operations.
• Prepare and oversee dough making, fermentation, proofing, shaping, and baking of different types of bread.
• Manage the preparation and production of pastries, bakery items, and cheese-based products.
• Ensure correct measurements, recipes, baking temperatures, timings, and portion sizes are followed.
• Monitor the quality, taste, texture, freshness, and presentation of all finished products.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, labelling, and rotation of raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards across the production area.
• Allocate tasks to team members, monitor performance, and ensure production targets are achieved on time.
• Monitor ingredient stock, report shortages, and minimise wastage of raw materials.
• Ensure bakery equipment, ovens, mixers, and other machinery are used and maintained properly.
• Maintain production records, stock records, and shift handover reports.
• Coordinate with the production manager and other departments to ensure timely completion of orders.
