Our expectations

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Java backend development.

  • Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.

  • Proficiency in React, Next.js and TypeScript, as well as modern CSS techniques and component libraries.

  • Strong knowledge of REST API design, relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and Docker.

  • Experience with clean software architecture and automated testing; basic knowledge of GitLab CI/CD.

  • Ability to work independently and communicate confidently in English.

Key tasks

  • Translate business requirements into domain models and Java services in collaboration with Product, UX and Frontend teams.

  • Design REST APIs and help shape the transition to a decoupled microservices architecture.

  • Improve the maintainability, reliability and performance of existing services.

  • Develop and optimise GitLab pipelines, Docker images and automated workflows.
