Job Description:
Hard disk drive read channel digital design, concentrating on digital signal processing and error correction decoding. Qualified candidates will:
Work closely with architects to develop design specifications
Be responsible for HDL coding, lint checking, CDC checking and RTL & gate-level simulation development and debug
Produce verification and silicon validation plans
Work with implementation teams to review results from synthesis, STA and logical equivalence checks
Provide input to program managers to produce project resource requirements and schedules
Develop automation to support design & verification tasks
Job Requirements:
B.S degree in EE or Computer Engineering with minimum of 12 years of related experience, or M.S degree/Ph.D. in EE or Computer Engineering with minimum 10 years of related experience
Hard disk drive and read/write channel knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of Verilog, UNIX, Perl or Python scripting, and C
Understanding of the IC development flow, from RTL to silicon
Familiarity with low power design techniques
Ability to work with teams at remote locations and in different time zones
Self-motivation, excellent communication skills and ability to excel in a team environment

The annual base salary range for this position is USD To USD
