Instrumentation Applications Specialist
As an Instrumentation Applications Specialist at Bronkhorst USA in Bethlehem (PA), you’ll be the bridge between customers, sales teams, and technical experts, ensuring every application is matched with the right instrumentation solution. You’ll support the full quote-to-order process, from understanding technical requirements and preparing quotations to managing orders and delivery updates. Help customers find the right instrumentation solution while managing quotes, orders, and technical inquiries in a dynamic industrial environment.

What to do
- Understand customer applications, including flow rates, pressure, temperature, and gas/liquid media.
- Support instrument sizing and configuration, including flow ranges, materials, connections, and calibration options.
- Interpret customer requirements and match them to appropriate instrumentation solutions.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes for configured hardware and accessories.
- Track open quotations and support sales staff, distributors, and key accounts.
- Validate pricing and product options.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy against quoted configurations.
- Enter and manage orders within ERP systems.
- Provide delivery updates and shipment tracking information.
- Respond to technical and commercial inquiries.
- Assist with returns, exchanges, and repairs.
- Maintain accurate customer and order data in ERP/CRM systems.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and European headquarters.
What to bring
- 1+ year of B2B sales, customer support, or technical support experience.
- Ability to explain technical or engineered product concepts to customers and distributors.
- Experience explaining technical products clearly enough to influence purchasing decisions.
- Experience preparing quotes or reviewing purchase orders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with ERP/CRM systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach.
