Senior Program Manager, Global Operations

Job Description

The Senior Program Manager, Global Operations is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence, capacity expansion, cost competitiveness, supply chain resilience, and business transformation across Brooks' global manufacturing and operations network.

This role serves as the central point of coordination for strategic operational programs, partnering closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure successful execution of critical business priorities.

The Senior Program Manager establishes governance, drives accountability, manages risks, and ensures programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The role requires strong influence, leadership, and the ability to navigate complex global environments while delivering measurable operational and financial results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program Leadership

  • Lead enterprise and global operations initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Translate business strategy into executable program plans with clear milestones, ownership, and success metrics.
  • Ensure alignment of program objectives with growth, profitability, customer, and operational priorities.
  • Drive execution of high-impact initiatives supporting manufacturing, supply chain, operations excellence, and global expansion.

Operational Excellence & Transformation

  • Lead initiatives focused on productivity improvement, margin expansion, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to improve manufacturing performance, inventory management, supply chain effectiveness, and customer delivery.
  • Drive implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Support digital transformation and operational technology initiatives across global operations.

Program Governance & Execution

  • Establish program governance structures, review processes, and executive reporting mechanisms.
  • Develop integrated program schedules and manage resource requirements across multiple functions.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact program success.
  • Drive issue resolution and escalation management to maintain program momentum.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a trusted partner to Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Unit leadership teams.
  • Facilitate executive reviews and provide clear communication on program progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Align stakeholders around priorities, trade-offs, resource requirements, and execution plans.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Monitor program budgets, forecasts, and business case assumptions.
  • Ensure programs deliver targeted operational and financial benefits.
  • Measure and report realized value through defined KPIs and operational metrics.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of program management, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or business transformation experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional programs in a global environment.
  • Strong project planning, risk management, change management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience utilizing project management tools and methodologies.

Preferred

  • Experience within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, automation, industrial technology, or related industries.
  • PMP certification or equivalent program management credentials.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-site global manufacturing operations.

Success Measures

  • On-time delivery of strategic operational initiatives.
  • Achievement of cost, margin, and productivity improvement targets.
  • Successful execution of capacity expansion and operational transformation programs.
  • Improved operational KPIs, including quality, delivery performance, inventory, and throughput.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and program governance effectiveness.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $148,351.35 USD to $200,710.65 USD

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
