Main Duties and Responsibilities
Provides strategic leadership in designing secure-by-design architectures, cybersecurity standards, and technology roadmaps that strengthen BSP’s overall cybersecurity posture and resilience
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or any related field or CPro from the CSC
Experience: At least 11 years experience in IT with at least 7 years experience in cybersecurity protection technologies covering data, network, endpoint, and identity security
Training: At least 120 hours of relevant training/learning and development intervention taken within the last 5 years in any of the areas mentioned under areas of experience, and 8 hours cybersecurity-related training for the last 2 years
Eligibility: Career Service Professional / Second Level Eligibility
Areas of Experience:
- Security architecture frameworks (e.g. SABSA, TOGAF, and ZTA)
- Cloud security architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms
- Network security design including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SASE, SD-WAN, and network segmentation
- Identity and Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and directory services
Certifications
Must hold at least one of the following:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- SABSA Chartered Security Architect (SCF or SCM)
- TOGAF 9/10
- COBIT
Any of the following certifications is an advantage:
- Information Security Manager
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- Risk and Information Systems Control
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
