Design & Project Management Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Music Intern to join the #ABtalks Music team. This is a hybrid role that combines music distribution coordination, project management, and graphic design. You will play an important role in ensuring our music releases are executed smoothly across digital streaming platforms while also creating and organizing the visual assets that support each release.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of creativity and operations and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Music Distribution & Release Coordination

• Coordinate music releases with the #ABtalks distributor.
• Ensure all release timelines, artwork, and assets are submitted accurately and on schedule.
• Organize release calendars and maintain an up-to-date tracker for all upcoming and published releases.
• Liaise with distributors to resolve any release issues or requests.

Graphic Design & Creative Assets

• Design album covers, single artwork, promotional graphics, and social media assets for music releases.
• Prepare artwork and creative assets according to distributor specifications.
• Organize video assets, canvas videos, visualizers, and promotional content for upload across music streaming platforms.
• Ensure all creative assets meet brand guidelines and technical requirements.

Project Management & Administration

• Maintain organized folders and documentation for all music projects.
• Track deadlines and ensure every release progresses smoothly from planning to launch.
• Coordinate internally with different departments to collect required materials before release.

Royalties & Finance Coordination

• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure royalty reports are received, organized, and submitted on time.
• Maintain accurate records of royalty statements and release documentation.
• Support royalty reporting processes and assist with administrative follow-up when needed.

Requirements

• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design software.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners.
• Interest in the music industry and digital music distribution.
• Familiarity with digital streaming platforms and music distribution workflows is a strong advantage.
• Basic understanding of video organization and asset management is a plus.
