About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Projects to drive the successful planning, execution, deployment, and delivery of customer projects across global warehouse automation programs.

The role involves working closely with Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Success, and regional implementation teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

The ideal candidate should have strong project management fundamentals, stakeholder management capabilities, and experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Project Planning & Coordination :

- Own project planning activities from project initiation through deployment.

- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, project charters, RACI matrices, and governance documentation.

- Coordinate project kick-offs and planning sessions with global stakeholders.

- Drive resource planning and coordination across cross-functional teams.

2. Project Delivery & Governance :

- Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and action items.

- Drive weekly project reviews and stakeholder governance meetings.

- Coordinate with Engineering, Product, QA, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.

- Manage JIRA project structures, epics, task tracking, and reporting.

- Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.

3. Deployment & Customer Coordination :

- Support implementation, deployment, integration testing, and UAT activities.

- Coordinate customer-facing activities and deployment readiness reviews.

- Monitor project KPIs, stabilization plans, and successful handovers to support teams.

- Facilitate issue resolution and escalation management throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Financial & Operational Management :

- Track project budgets, resource utilization, project costs, and operational metrics.

- Monitor procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and invoicing activities.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar project management tools.

- Experience managing cross-functional technical projects.

- Strong risk management, project reporting, and stakeholder communication capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience :

- B.E./B.Tech in Engineering or a related discipline.

- MBA or Project Management certification is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional technical projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, tracking project governance and risks, and supporting implementation/deployment activities.

Experience in technology-driven project environments and exposure to warehouse automation and robotics software will be relevant to this role.
