Job Summary:
As a Senior Call Centre Representative, you will be responsible for managing and responding to incoming calls from patients, referring offices, and other stakeholders. You will play a key role in providing a positive and professional experience for all callers and ensuring that their needs are addressed promptly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls and inquiries from patients, referring offices, and other stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect necessary information from patients
Provide accurate information and instructions to callers regarding appointments, procedures, and follow-up care
Assist with managing and updating patient records and files
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction
Escalate any urgent or complex issues to the appropriate team member or supervisor
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations, at all times
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role
Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle a high volume of calls and maintain a professional demeanor
Proficient in using computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others effectively
