POSITION INFO:
About the Role Our client, a leading specialist in the airconditioning and ventilation sector, is seeking a skilled HVAC Site Foreman to supervise day-to-day operations on assigned project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating employees and subcontractors, ensuring high workmanship standards, and delivering projects safely and according to technical specifications. Key Responsibilities Site Supervision and Planning: Plan daily activities according to project programmes, allocate duties to technical teams, and monitor productivity to ensure deadlines are met. Installation and Quality Control: Supervise the installation of air conditioning units, ductwork, refrigerant piping, and associated supports while ensuring all work aligns with approved drawings and manufacturer instructions. Health and Safety: Enforce strict health and safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, ensure the correct use of PPE, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Material and Tool Management: Coordinate deliveries, manage secure storage, monitor material usage to minimise wastage, and ensure all company property is maintained and accounted for. Communication and Reporting: Submit daily progress reports, verify timesheets, and communicate professionally with clients and site representatives regarding project variations or delays. Testing and Commissioning: Coordinate with technicians for leak tests and operational checks, compile snag lists, and assist with final site sign-offs and handovers. Team Leadership: Maintain discipline and professional conduct on-site, providing guidance and mentorship to assistants and junior team members. Requirements Proven practical experience in HVAC installation and site supervision. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and installation specifications. Excellent planning, communication, and team leadership skills. Technical training or a relevant trade qualification is highly advantageous.
