CACI International is an American technology company founded in 1962 that works almost entirely for United States defence, intelligence and federal civilian agencies. It has moved from being a conventional IT services contractor toward supplying its own technology, with a substantial expeditionary electronic warfare and signals intelligence product line, photonics and optical communications for space, and secure network modernisation. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the company employs more than twenty thousand people, the majority holding security clearances, and has grown through a steady programme of acquisitions that add differentiated technology rather than headcount alone.

The Opportunity

CACI is hiring a China Mission Group (CMG) regional analysis Team Lead to drive high-quality, China-focused assessments, analytic leadership, and mission-aligned expertise across priority CMG tasks. As the CMG Team Lead, you will serve as the senior manager and technical lead for contract personnel delivering finished intelligence on the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and related cross-regional issues, aligned to DIA standards and program objectives.

Our teams provide insight into political-military dynamics, PLA force development and modernization, foreign influence activities, economic and technological statecraft, cyber and advanced technology threats, gray-zone behavior, and other emerging challenges with Indo-Pacific and global relevance.

In this role, you will lead, coordinate, and oversee focused analytic and operational efforts that inform senior stakeholders across the defense and national security community, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality CMG production that meets DIA tradecraft standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor contractor personnel assigned to your region, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness across all analytic tasks

  • Provide senior-level regional and functional expertise related to strategic competitors, military and security trends, foreign influence operations, regional alliances, and geopolitical developments

  • Direct the assignment and execution of complex analytic tasks while overseeing quality control for team-produced products.

  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams performing all-source research, regional expertise development, open-source exploitation, knowledge management, technical editing, and product dissemination

  • Serve as the primary contractor interface with government program leads to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure production aligns with regional priorities

  • Support crisis operations, surge requirements, and time-sensitive analytic needs related to emerging regional developments

  • Ensure team compliance with program-specific analytic standards, sourcing guidelines, classification protocols, and production requirements

  • Oversee onboarding, readiness, training, and performance management of assigned personnel

  • Support modernization initiatives, database maintenance, and integration of new analytic tools or methodologies as required

Qualification

Required

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

  • 10+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, regional security issues, strategic competitor analysis, or related mission areas

  • Prior experience serving in a senior analytic, management, or technical lead role within the DoD or national-security enterprise

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary analytic teams supporting all-source production, regional analysis, foreign influence research, OSINT, or similar disciplines

  • Strong understanding of regional dynamics, including military modernization trends, regional alliances, strategic competition, and political-military issues

  • Ability to coordinate directly with government stakeholders, manage tasking requirements, and ensure timely and accurate analytic production

  • Familiarity with analytic tradecraft standards, sourcing requirements, classification protocols, and production workflows

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing or reviewing high-visibility analytic products

Desired

  • PMP or equivalent program management certification.

  • Strong understanding of regional dynamics, including PLA modernization, CCP political-military issues, regional alliances, economic and technology statecraft, and strategic competition

  • Familiarity with DIA analytic tradecraft, sourcing, classification, and production workflows; excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing or reviewing high-visibility products

  • Experience supporting China Mission Group or Indo-Pacific Regional Center missions, or similar organizations

  • Proven Track record supporting crisis operations, surge requirements, or rapid-turn production

  • Expertise in advanced analytic methods (data science, network analysis, geospatial analysis) and AI-enabled workflow improvements applied to intelligence production

  • Familiarity with relevant regional languages or cultural dynamics.

  • Experience with database development, knowledge management, or dissemination workflows in support of China-focused missions
