Job Description
* Plan and execute Statutory Audits, Tax Audits and other assurance assignments.
* Handle audit assignments of Sugar Factories, Companies, Cooperative Societies, Educational Trusts, LLPs and Partnership Firms.
* Review financial statements and accounting records.
* Verify compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws and other regulatory requirements.
* Handle Income Tax and GST return-related assignments.
* Assist in Income Tax and GST Assessments and Appeals at various levels.
* Prepare audit reports, tax audit reports and other professional reports.
* Identify financial, accounting and compliance issues and provide practical recommendations.
* Coordinate with clients and junior team members for timely completion of assignments.
* Review work performed by junior team members and guide them on technical and practical matters.
Skills Required
* Strong knowledge of Accounting, Auditing, Income Tax and GST.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to independently handle assignments.
* Good client communication and report-writing skills.
* Practical understanding of audit procedures and statutory compliance.
