Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Finance Techno-Functional Consultant who combines strong Oracle Financials knowledge with hands-on technical capability. This role is suited to someone who can support production issues, analyze finance processes end to end, and work closely with stakeholders to resolve problems quickly and accurately. Based in Bangalore, this position requires deep experience in Oracle EBS finance support, root-cause analysis, and SLA-driven issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide techno-functional support for Oracle EBS R12 Finance applications and related business processes.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.

• Support month-end and sub-ledger close activities, including issue investigation and resolution.

• Work across Oracle Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management as applicable.

• Use PL/SQL and related technical analysis to identify root causes and implement fixes or workarounds.

• Collaborate with business users, process owners, and technical teams to understand requirements and support end-to-end finance processes.

• Review recurring issues, identify opportunities for automation or process improvement, and help strengthen system stability.

• Document solutions, support actions, and recurring issues clearly for continuity and knowledge sharing.

How You Will Do It

• You will take ownership of issues from first analysis through resolution, with a strong focus on accountability, accuracy, and timely follow-through.

• You will stay close to the finance process, remove blockers quickly, and focus on what matters most to users and stakeholders.

• You will use structured problem-solving to identify root causes, validate fixes, and improve the way issues are handled over time.

• You will work as one team across business and technical functions, building trust through clear communication and collaboration.

• You will approach your work with candor and continuous improvement, looking for small but meaningful ways to strengthen support, reporting, and process stability.

• You will use your Oracle EBS knowledge and PL/SQL skills to bridge functional needs with practical technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 Finance techno-functional roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Financials and finance support processes.

• Working knowledge of Oracle EBS finance modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management.

• Strong PL/SQL skills for analysis, debugging, and solution support.

• Experience in production support, issue handling, and SLA-driven environments.

• Solid understanding of month-end close and sub-ledger accounting processes.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem resolution.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting Oracle EBS integrations or interface troubleshooting.

• Exposure to Oracle Discoverer or reporting discussions.

• Experience identifying automation or process improvement opportunities.

• Broader exposure to cross-functional Oracle EBS support beyond Finance, such as SCM or HR.
