  • Internship period and duration: January 4 to April 23, 2027, with the possibility of extending to an eight-month internship
  • Hours per week: 40

This internship offers a rare opportunity to experience tax in a large public company headquartered in Quebec. For a CPA student, it is a highly formative experience, with exposure to a broader tax environment than what is typically covered in academic courses, which often focus on smaller businesses.

What You Will Work On:

  • Assist with the follow-up of notices of assessment, tax audit requests and tax deadlines.
  • Contribute to the documentation of tax calculations, tax positions and audit trails.
  • Participate in selected international tax and international tax reorganization work, including tax residency certificates, intercompany tracking, tax data analysis, as well as selected transfer pricing and/or indirect tax matters, depending on the team’s needs.
  • Support the improvement of selected tax working files, particularly using Excel, to facilitate analysis, documentation and file follow-up.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a curious, rigorous student who is genuinely interested in taxation, enjoys analyzing complex rules, documenting their work and learning from a professional and collaborative team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation, business administration, data analytics or a related field. Previous internship experience is considered an asset.
  • Completion of at least one to two years of undergraduate studies.
  • A strong interest in taxation, accounting or business administration.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a strong interest in corporate, international or transactional tax.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in international tax, corporate tax, tax reorganizations, transfer pricing or indirect taxes.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and an interest in analyzing financial or tax data.
  • Ability to read, organize and document financial, tax and legal information with rigor.
  • Interest in tax research, documenting tax positions and developing professional judgment.
  • Experience or coursework in taxation, accounting, tax law, audit or corporate finance is considered an asset. Bilingual (French and English).

Why Join CAE?

  • Work in a modern, open-concept office environment.
  • Contribute to a wide variety of projects alongside multidisciplinary teams.

  • Free parking for both cars and bicycles.
  • Enjoy an active workplace culture with a running club and sports activities.
  • On-site cafeteria offering a variety of fresh meal options.
  • Access to locker rooms and shower facilities.
  • Relax and connect on our panoramic rooftop terrace, open during the summer and fall.
