JOB SUMMARY
Harrah’s Laughlin is looking for an energetic, guest-focused Bartender who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. As part of the Caesars Entertainment family, you’ll embody our Family Style Service-warm, welcoming, and committed to creating memorable moments for every guest.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Provide outstanding guest service with a friendly, engaging personality
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy, speed, and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws, policies, and safety standards
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and comps with precision and professionalism
- Engage guests, make recommendations, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere
- Work collaboratively with barbacks, servers, and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations
- Resolve guest concerns with courtesy, confidence, and a solutions-focused mindset
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- A positive, upbeat personality with a passion for hospitality
- Strong communication and guest-service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology basics, and responsible alcohol service
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Card
- Valid SNHD Food Handler Safety Training Card
- Valid Non-Gaming Card
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate, read and write in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Cash-handling accuracy and attention to detail.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
