We are seeking an experienced Global Mobility Partner (Contract) to support international talent movement aligned with our global growth objectives. In this role, you won't just move people-you will build the foundational infrastructure that allows our company to scale globally and develop talent seamlessly. Designing and executing end-to-end relocation experiences for new hires and internal transfers, you will ensure full compliance across tax, immigration, total rewards, and payroll while maintaining a best-in-class service orientation for all transferees and business leaders.

• Job Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) - based in Toronto, ON

Key Accountabilities

• Program Design & Development: Design, refine, and continuously optimize competitive and cost-effective mobility frameworks and policies, including Long-Term Assignments (LTA), Short-Term Assignments (STA), Work from Abroad policies, employee localizations, and Employer of Record (EOR) management.
• Relocation Assessment & Strategy: Serve as the primary expert and trusted advisor to business leaders on international talent transfers; conduct feasibility assessments, cost projections, and timeline analyses to formulate realistic, business-aligned transfer plans.
• End-to-End Relocation Management: Lead transferees through the full mobility lifecycle-from initial cost modeling to repatriation or localization. Collaborate closely with Talent Management and HR Business Partners to strategically reintegrate international talent and maximize ROI.
• Vendor Partnership & Performance: Oversee external strategic partners including immigration counsel, tax consultants, Employer of Record (EOR) providers, and Relocation Management Companies (RMCs) to ensure service level excellence, operational efficiency, and cost management.
• Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Partner cross-functionally with Legal and Finance to navigate complex international labor laws, mitigate permanent establishment risks, and satisfy all right-to-work compliance mandates.
• Tax & Payroll Coordination: Collaborate directly with Global Payroll to direct shadow payroll mechanisms, tax equalization processes, hypo-tax deductions, and year-end reporting requirements.
• Total Rewards Collaboration: Partner with Compensation and Benefits teams to structure competitive, compliant, and market-aligned total rewards packages for international assignees.
• Data, Analytics & Reporting: Track mobility metrics, program expenditures, and compliance status; prepare and present analytics, program effectiveness reports, and cost-benefit analyses to leadership.

Must Have(s)

• Experience: 5 to 7+ years of dedicated experience within a Global Mobility function, International HR role, or specialized Tax/Immigration consulting environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep working knowledge of U.S., UK, and Canadian visa and immigration frameworks (e.g., H-1B, L-1, EU Blue Card), paired with strong foundational expertise in global mobility tax principles.
• Stakeholder Management & Soft Skills: Proven ability to manage complex global mobility programs with exceptional empathy for employee relocation stress, balanced with strong negotiation, communication, and multi-stakeholder management skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.

Salary Range: $90K/year - $110K/year CAD. Please note that the salary range included is a guideline only. The salary offered may vary based on factors, including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
