About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who operates at the intersection of strategic thinking and polished execution. You'll own product areas and strategic go-to-market initiatives end to end, working in close collaboration with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Support teams.
You can build a messaging framework and then write the one-pager that makes it feel obvious to a skeptical buyer. You’ve developed pricing and packaging for new products based on data analytics and first principles. You've built and delivered webinars and presentations that people actually attend and remember. You know what "good" looks like at every altitude - from a competitive positioning brief to a leave-behind a sales rep hands across a conference table.
This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role that blends storytelling, market insight, go-to-market strategy and execution to fuel growth and improve conversions.
What You’ll Do
- Product Launches: Define the go-to-market strategy for new products and coordinate cross-functionally to execute product launches. Own pipeline generation, conversations, deal velocity, and revenue outcomes for new product launches.
- Pricing and Packaging: Lead pricing strategy and packaging architecture for your assigned product areas, in close partnership with Product Marketing leadership, Product Managers, and Sales team. You'll translate business goals and buyer behavior into pricing structures that are easy to sell, hard to walk away from, and financially sound.
- Platform and Product Positioning: Develop the positioning frameworks that define how Canary's products compete and how they fit together. Ground your positioning in real buyer psychology and the competitive landscape. Hold the standard for messaging quality across marketing and sales activities for your product areas.
- Narrative Development and Storytelling: Own the stories Canary tells externally about the products in your portfolio. This means executive keynote narratives, analyst briefings, launch messaging, and more. Possess and maintain a high bar for written, visual, and verbal storytelling.
- Analytics and Commercial Impact: Analyze sales and product data to generate insights as well as action plans to improve sales performance. Identify customer metrics that convey the benefits of your solutions and proliferate success stories through well designed and executed campaigns, in partnership with Growth and Content Marketing teams.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Work across product, sales, finance, customer success, and executive leadership to align on strategy, put plans into action, and learn from outcomes. Master executing cross-functionally with influence rather than direct authority.
- Customer Insights: Generate insights from customer conversations that influence how to improve conversions, shapes product strategy, and inspires content and asset development for your suite of solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- +8 years of product marketing experience in a B2B SaaS and/or AI environment
- Experience developing effective and commercially sound pricing and packaging for a multi-product SaaS portfolio
- A portfolio of external storytelling you're proud of: webinars, executive presentations, launch narratives, or analyst content that drove real outcomes
- Strong analytical ability - you can work with pricing models, win/loss data, and market research to build a credible point of view, then translate that into external messaging without losing nuance
- High agency and ability to navigate ambiguity. You take ownership of defining high-leverage initiatives, you develop the approach, and you put it into action.
- Proven track record in product positioning. You've taken complex or technical products to market and made them resonate with non-technical buyers
- Experience in hospitality tech, travel, or vertical SaaS is a meaningful differentiator - Canary's buyers are a specific kind of operator and the learning curve is real
- A genuine high quality bar - for your own work, for the assets that tout your product areas, and for the team around you
- Preferred: Management consulting or related experience, MBA preferred.
Compensation
Target cash compensation ranges from $165,000 - $200,000, including a fixed annual salary and a performance-based bonus paid monthly.
This role also includes a stock option grant, subject to board approval.
Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's skill level, experience, and specific work location.
