Sushi Chef - Francophone Mobility Program

• Prepare sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese dishes.
• Select, cut, and prepare fish, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Prepare sushi rice and maintain ingredient freshness.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area.
• Follow food safety procedures and kitchen standards.
• Work efficiently with other kitchen staff to fulfill customer orders.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a sushi chef or sushi cook is preferred.
• Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese cuisine.
• Ability to handle and prepare raw fish safely.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Good knife skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
