Capco is a management and technology consultancy founded in 1998 that works exclusively for the financial services industry, covering banking, capital markets, wealth management, insurance and payments. Unlike the broad generalist consultancies it deliberately stays within one sector, which is how it competes for regulatory, risk and core banking transformation work against much larger firms. Headquartered in London with delivery centres across Europe, North America and Asia and a large engineering presence in Poland, the firm has been owned by the French IT services group Wipro since 2021.

What You'll Do

  • Support clients managing regulatory reviews, remediation programmes, and operational backlogs while ensuring appropriate governance and oversight of AI-assisted outputs.
  • Benchmark and assess controls, identify gaps, and design practical solutions that strengthen risk management using data-driven insights and responsible AI techniques where appropriate.
  • Contribute to proposition development, client offerings, business development, and thought leadership across the financial crime and fraud domain.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience delivering financial crime transformation within financial services or management consulting.
  • Strong understanding of sanctions, fraud prevention, investigations, and the wider financial crime landscape.
  • Familiarity with financial crime technology, operational processes, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that improve operational effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience using approved AI tools to enhance analysis, productivity, and delivery.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to responsible AI adoption within regulated financial services environments.

Bonus Points For

  • Programme or Project Management or Business Analysis experience within financial crime transformation.
  • Experience designing and implementing target operating models and financial crime control frameworks.
  • Experience delivering automation, AI-enabled analytics, or advanced technology solutions across AML, sanctions, or fraud transformation.
  • Previous consulting experience within financial services.
  • For senior candidates, experience leading teams, developing propositions, supporting business development, and contributing to client growth.

  • Deliver high-impact transformation programmes for Tier 1 financial institutions.
  • Work in a collaborative, flat, and entrepreneurial consulting culture.
