About the Job you are considering:
We are seeking an experienced Application Development & Support Manager to lead the delivery, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical Deposit Applications. This role is accountable for the end-to-end technical delivery, operational performance, security, resilience, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of business-critical applications hosted primarily on Microsoft Azure.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end application delivery and support for business-critical platforms.
- Manage Agile delivery, sprint planning, releases, and technical roadmap execution.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure application availability, performance, security, resilience, and compliance.
- Oversee incident, problem, change, release, vulnerability, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architecture, Operations, and business stakeholders.
- Manage third-party suppliers and vendor relationships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
Required Skill:
- Proven experience managing enterprise application development and support teams.
- Strong background in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, SQL Server, and SSIS.
- Experience with Azure Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Knowledge of CRM/Case Management platforms such as Siebel CRM and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience with application integration, API-led architectures, and high-volume data processing systems.
- Strong understanding of application security, service management, and operational resilience.
- Excellent stakeholder management, supplier management, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience: 10+ years in Application Development, Delivery, and Support Management.
