You will work across platforms, data, integration, identity, security and AI to shape solutions that are practical to deliver, scalable and sustainable.

You will provide hands-on design leadership from current-state assessment and technology strategy through vendor selection, solution design, mobilisation and implementation. Working with client, functional and technical teams, you will develop architecture artefacts, facilitate design decisions, manage dependencies and assure solution integrity across the transformation lifecycle.

  • Develop application, integration and data architecture, defining system interactions, information flows and key security and non-functional requirements in collaboration with specialist architecture teams.
  • Assess and incorporate AI-enabled capabilities into solution design, considering use-case value, data readiness, integration, human oversight, privacy and responsible AI requirements.
  • Support technology evaluation and architecture assurance, contributing to vendor assessments, design workshops, architecture artefacts and design reviews throughout delivery.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution - Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

YOUR PROFILE

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering solution architecture for HR technology, digital HR or workforce transformation programmes, with ownership of architecture deliverables or a major design workstream.
  • Broad architecture capability across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, data, integration, identity, security and non-functional design, combined with a strong understanding of HR technology ecosystems.
  • Experience assessing current landscapes, defining future-state architecture and roadmaps, and translating business and functional requirements into implementable designs.
  • Practical understanding of AI-enabled transformation, including data quality, integration, governance, responsible AI and human oversight within HR services and workforce decisions.
  • Strong consulting and facilitation skills, with the ability to structure complex problems, lead design workshops and communicate recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams and with technology vendors or implementation partners in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Experience contributing to proposals, estimates, client pitches, architecture methods or reusable assets.
  • Relevant certification in enterprise or solution architecture, cloud, data, integration or a major HR technology platform is desirable; no single vendor certification is required.
  • Training or certification in AI architecture, responsible AI, AI governance or data and AI risk is desirable.
  • UK Security Clearance is desirable.
