Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Utilize indepth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications
  • Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects
  • Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations
  • Impact the Applications Development area through monitoring delivery of end results
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary

    Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
  • Experience as senior level in an Applications Development role
  • Stakeholder and people management experience
  • Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Solid understanding of objectoriented programming and design pattern

    Requirements

  • Exhibit sound understanding of theories and practices in architecture in multiple related areas
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of Big Data Grid Computing Data Warehousing Cloud Computing and programming languages such as Java Spark and Python
  • Extensive development expertise in building the high scaled and performant software platforms for data computation and processing
  • Expert level knowledge of core Java concepts and framework such as Spring Boot Microservices and well versed with OOPs concepts and design patterns
  • Handson experience with Apache Spark with Java
  • Experience with caching solutions like Pinot Redis etc
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle DB including schema design and query optimization
  • Deep knowledge of how technology integrates within the organization and of direct competitors products and services
  • Strong leadership
  • Ability to persuade and influence senior leaders through excellent data driven communication and diplomacy skills
  • Finance domain knowledge is plus

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 85,000 - 95,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
