Integration Engineer 3

We are seeking Integration Engineers who are passionate about creating and supporting DevOps tools with emerging technologies to join our team. As a Integration Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.
General Responsibilities:
Manage Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet, etc.) for our organization
Provide prompt and effective technical support to users, troubleshooting issues and answering questions
Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity, taking proactive measures to address potential problems
Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Workspace features and best practices, implementing updates and improvements as needed
Develop and maintain clear documentation and training materials for users
Focus on building and maintaining the underlying operational aspects of the platform including remediating vulnerabilities
Monitor platform support Slack channels and address customer questions and issues
Lead the availability, resilience and scalability of the platform
Work closely with the Architecture team to align the platforms to latest architecture and configuration
Encourage innovation, automation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization and diversity to a legacy process
Develop, and utilize best practices to enhance the overall user experience of the platform
Utilize scripting languages like Python, Bash, and others.
Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
Collaborate with the Software Engineers to ensure software works seamlessly on the platforms
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years of experience supporting or maintaining cross-platform integrations or system connectivity
At least 3 years of experience developing or supporting API-based integrations using scripting or orchestration tools
At least 1 year of experience driving testing, testing frameworks, or integrating new platforms
At least 1 year of experience administering Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
3+ years of experience with deployment tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory)
3+ years of experience in Agile practices
Experience managing identity and access within systems
4+ years of experience implementing or maintaining API-based integrations
Experience collaborating with architects or platform teams to define integration frameworks and reference architectures
2+ years of experience automating infrastructure or system configuration using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or like technologies
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog) to ensure integration performance and resiliency
Experience mentoring engineers or leading small integration-focused initiatives

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Integration Engineer 3New York, NY: $143,200 - $163,500 for Integration Engineer 3Plano, TX: $119,400 - $136,200 for Integration Engineer 3Richmond, VA: $119,400 - $136,200 for Integration Engineer 3Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
