DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Build and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and network security policies.
• Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Collaborate with backend and engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and system reliability.
• Optimise cloud resource utilisation and infrastructure costs.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS or GCP cloud services. • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting for automation.
• Strong understanding of networking, Linux systems, and cloud security fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting production environments.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced product environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Golang.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with cloud cost optimisation and high-availability architecture.
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems.
