Card Factory is a British specialist retailer of greeting cards, gifts, wrap and party supplies headquartered at Century House in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, that designs and prints much of its own range. Founded in 1997 and listed on the London Stock Exchange since 2014, it operates a chain of around a thousand stores across the UK and Ireland alongside online sales, and its board also carries roles for the Funky Pigeon online card business. It hires store sales assistants and team leaders, maintenance electricians, health and safety advisers, finance analysts, merchandise planners, IT support and performance marketing staff.

What You’ll Be Getting Up To:

Put our customers at the heart of everything you do - it’s our promise to them.
Make every shopper feel welcomed, wowed, and won over- that’s the cardfactory way!
Serve at the tills with a smile, making sure everyone finds what they came in for (and maybe a little extra).
Keeping our shelves stocked and looking fabulous.
Recommend our amazing range of gifts, wrap, and more - we’re so much more than cards!

No retail experience needed, you’ll be working with a friendly team and receive full training. What matters most is that you’re friendly, approachable, comfortable on your feet (it gets busy, but it’s all part of the fun!) and ready to help. If you’re flexible with your time - we may even offer shifts across nearby stores if you’re up for.

If you’ve got great communication skills, love to chat, whilst gaining valuable experience in a fun and friendly environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. At cardfactory, you’ll be part of a supportive team, learning new skills and helping to create memorable moments for every customer who walks through our doors.
