Careers@Gov is the official centralized recruitment platform for the Singapore Public Service, serving as a single gateway for job opportunities across government ministries and statutory boards. The portal enables job seekers to explore public sector roles, track applications, and access career development resources powered by digital tools. Headquartered in Singapore, it is managed by the Public Service Division and the Government Technology Agency to streamline public sector talent acquisition.

[What the role is]

Artificial intelligence is creating new opportunities to transform businesses, public services and the way people work. Singapore's national AI agenda brings together public-sector agencies, industry, research institutions and other ecosystem partners to strengthen Singapore's AI capabilities, accelerate responsible adoption and deliver meaningful economic and societal outcomes.

Within MAS, the Financial Infrastructure & Artificial Intelligence Office (FIA) leads initiatives that strengthen the foundations for AI innovation in financial services. This includes ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, data and digital infrastructure, industry capability building, and national-level initiatives that support the safe, trusted and effective use of AI across the financial sector.

[What you will be working on]

This role serves as MAS’ secretariat for all matters relating to the National AI Council (NAIC). You will coordinate MAS' participation in NAIC and related inter-agency platforms, support senior management engagements, drive follow-up on national AI priorities, and ensure that MAS delivers effectively on its commitments under Singapore's national AI agenda. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will help shape MAS' contributions to AI policy, ecosystem development and strategic national initiatives.

This role focuses on shaping and coordinating strategic AI initiatives that support Singapore's national AI priorities for the financial sector. You will work closely with stakeholders across government, industry, academia and technology providers to develop and advance initiatives that strengthen AI adoption, capability development and innovation in financial services. You will help align stakeholders, drive implementation of strategic priorities, and ensure that AI policy, ecosystem development and industry transformation are effectively translated into outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • National AI Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of strategic AI initiatives that advance Singapore’s national AI priorities for the financial sector, including coordinating stakeholders, tracking milestones and monitoring outcomes

  • Cross-agency Collaboration: Coordinate MAS' participation in strategic AI initiatives involving multiple government agencies and stakeholders

  • Stakeholder engagement: Work closely with government agencies, financial institutions, technology firms, AI companies, research institutions and ecosystem partners to align priorities and drive collective action

  • Programme Coordination: Develop workplans to support MAS' AI related priorities, monitor progress across workstreams and facilitate resolution of implementation issues

  • Secretariat Support: Coordinate inputs, track deliverables, prepare briefing materials and support senior management engagements relating to strategic AI initiatives

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategy, policy development, programme management, consulting, technology, economic development or the public sector

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and translate strategic priorities into executable workplans and outcomes

  • Strong programme and project management capabilities, including experience managing timelines, interdependencies, risks and reporting across multiple workstreams

  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with experience preparing policy papers, senior management briefs, meeting materials and executive-level presentations

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight timelines

  • Self-motivated individual with sound judgement, initiative, adaptability and a strong desire to deliver meaningful national impact

You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.

This is a 3-year contract. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.

All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted or not within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
