Job Purpose and Impact
We are looking for a Customer Service & Logistics Team Lead to lead our team and support the transformation of our customer service and logistics organization.
The role combines people leadership with responsibility for customer service execution, transportation and storage sourcing, contract compliance and coordination with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will play an important role in modernizing and digitalizing our ways of working, while driving continuous improvement, simplification and cost optimization.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the Customer Service & Logistics team.
- Set priorities, allocate workload and monitor team performance.
- Ensure effective execution of customer contracts, orders and logistics activities.
- Lead transportation and storage sourcing, including tenders, negotiations and supplier management.
- Identify and deliver cost-reduction opportunities across transportation, storage and logistics activities.
- Manage logistics contracts, supplier performance, claims and operational issues.
- Lead continuous-improvement initiatives focused on simplifying processes, eliminating inefficiencies and reducing costs.
- Drive the transformation, modernization and digitalization of processes and ways of working.
- Challenge existing practices and identify opportunities to standardize, automate and improve operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, Supply Chain, Finance and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Customer Service leadership experience
- Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or coordinating a team, preferably in customer service, logistics or supply chain.
- Experience in transportation and/or storage sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Strong people-leadership, coaching and communication skills.
- Customer-focused, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead change and engage people in transformation initiatives.
- Strong commercial mindset, with a proven focus on cost reduction and value creation.
- A passion for continuous improvement, simplification, standardization and digitalization.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and translate ideas into practical improvements.
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Experience with SAP or similar systems is preferred.
- Fluency in French and good command of English.
