Job Purpose and Impact
The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Process Lead job leads and advises on defining, designing and governing the Global Core Standards for Cargill Food Supply Chain planning processes. As part of a global team, this role enables best in class operations to meet growth and efficiency goals across all Global Cargill Food businesses. As a recognized subject matter expert in this field, this job develops and maintains the definition of Core planning processes - e.g. demand planning, supply planning, Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE), and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) - and leads process management activities including process design, documentation and optimization. This job coordinates global Business Process Optimization processes and efforts in North America, LATAM, EMEA and APAC. This job leads cross functional collaboration to identify and recommend risk mitigation options associated with process changes and implements feedback mechanisms to gather user insights.
Key Accountabilities
PROCESS STRATEGY: Aligns and implements the process strategy for Core Supply Chain planning processes, including setting priorities and defining roadmaps in support of Capability Owner ambitions and the Cargill Food Enterprise and Regional Annual Operating and Long-Range Plans.
CORE PROCESS DEFINITION & DESIGN: Leads and advises the definition and design of core planning processes ensuring standardization, harmonization and simplification. Establishes the Supply Chain Global Core Standard and the guidelines for region variation.
GLOBAL BUSINESS PROCESS OPTIMIZATION (BPO) COORDINATION: Serves as the global connection point to the regional BPO teams, translating capability development and direction into process design, consolidating regional recommendations, and aligning globally.
TECHNOLOGY ENABLEMENT: Consults to ensure support of enterprise deployed and supported products (e.g. GSC Planning Applications) to enable business readiness and facilitate technology enablement decisions.
PROCESS DOCUMENTATION & TRAINING: Creates, reviews and documents core planning processes, ensuring compliance with business process management standards and supports maintenance of the management system bodies of knowledge, documentation library and ARIS models.
PROCESS GOVERNANCE: Leads and advises on process governance, including analyzing process variation needs and influencing to maintain harmonization, standardization and simplification where differentiation does not add value.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Leads and reviews the analysis of process data to support process mining efforts and enable continuous improvement and automation initiatives, partners to find opportunities for process and workflow standardization and improvement.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATONS
- Minimum of six years relevant work experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestic and international
- Previous end-to-end supply chain planning experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting global process management in supply chain management
- Experience in process design and process development
- Experience with developing process taxonomies, business ontologies and/or knowledge graphs
- Experience managing global processes, supporting multiple countries
- Experience with product development
- Experience in the Food, Agriculture or Chemicals industry
Compensation Data
The expected salary for this position is $165,000-$195,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
