Production Scheduler

Job Purpose and Impact

The Production Scheduler will prepare, issue and control production schedules and direct material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of goods and materials to meet production requirements and customer demand. We seek an entry-level professional to support production planning, process development, customer interaction, business partnership, systems/data management and reporting and analysis.

Key Accountabilities

• Create production schedules and proactively manage necessary adjustments to guarantee sufficient stock for customer deliveries in a cost-efficient way.
• Support supply chain key performance indicators data collection, reporting, analysis and taking timely actions when appropriate to meet the targets and close deviations.
• Provide necessary input to supply planner for assigned product or location.
• Maintain data relevant to master production planning, production scheduling and material requirements planning activities including planning calendars, material data and location data.
• Conduct stock movement reviews and support variance investigations for finished goods under guidance.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Experience in production or supply chain planning
• Expierience with SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
