At Carma, we’re more than just a car company, we’re on a mission to shake up the Australian automotive industry! As a digital pre-owned car dealership, we’re turning the car buying experience into a hassle-free, seamless journey that customers can truly enjoy. With our diverse and collaborative team managing everything from engineering to marketing and buying to reconditioning in-house, we’re powered by the best people and we’d love for you to come along for the ride.
Just finished school and keen to kick-start your career working on cars? This is your chance to get hands-on experience with a paid apprenticeship at Carma! We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Apprentice Spray Painter to join our awesome workshop team. No experience? No worries! We’ll teach you everything you need to know through on-the-job training and study-so you’ll be earning while you’re learning.
What you'll be doing?
- You’ll be hands-on from day one-supporting our Paintshop, learning real-world repair and paint skills, and working on all kinds of vehicles in a fast-paced workshop.
- Study towards your trade qualification while gaining experience in prepping, masking, colour matching, and more.
- You won’t just help keep our vehicles in top shape-you’ll be part of bringing them back to life and making them shine like new.
- Being part of a team that supports each other, solves problems together, and takes pride in top-quality work.
- Keeping our workshop looking good-because a clean and organised space makes all the difference!
Okay, let’s talk about you:
- A valid driver’s licence (P-Plates or above).
- A love of cars and a real passion for the automotive industry.
- Someone eager to learn, grow, and become a top-notch Spray Painter.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.
- Either already enrolled or keen to start an automotive apprenticeship.
What's in it for you?
- We wouldn’t be a car business if we didn’t give you some $$ off our Carma cars, parts and NRMA cover.
- Join a team that values quality as much as quantity - we believe in working hard, having fun and delivering an exceptional product.
- Join a growing company with fantastic training and progression opportunities - grow with us!
At Carma, we’re all about fostering an amazing culture, where you can bring your best self to work! We value collaboration, innovation and having a laugh at work. Plus, we’re committed to diversity, inclusion and safe work practices, so no matter your background or experience (or car brand of choice!) we’d love to hear from you. Please let us know if you need any reasonable adjustments during the interview process.
