About the role

• The primary responsibility of the position is the engineering development of chiller electrical technologies. In this capacity, the engineer will be primarily responsible to develop solutions that best meet chiller system requirements. To do this, the engineer must have a strong understanding of the electrical function of commercial HVAC product and compression application.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Develop HV/LV chiller electrical system that meets the product development requirements in collaboration with chiller system engineer. Electrical system includes control panel, power box, VFD integration, cable harness, sensors and actuators and other electrical components.

• Validate electrical function and components reliability in the laboratory and field
• Investigate, analyze and correct the problems and Issues which are found at the lab or job site.
• Collaborate with supply chain to meet electrical function cost target

• Collaborate with quality team to lead the qualification plan and tests

• Collaborate with manufacturing faculties to effectively implement design into production

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor or above degree with major in electrical or related area
• Be familiar with Oscilloscope, power meter and similar tools application.
• Over 3 years’ experience on equipment electrical design, skilled in using Auto-CAD or similar drawing tools
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• HVAC industry experience is preferred
• Power and control panel mechanical and structural design experience is preferred
• HV/LV VFD development & research experience are preferred
