Our engineering organization is actively looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and evolve our infrastructure and CI/CD ecosystems across global environments.

You will be responsible for building highly automated, scalable, and resilient platforms across multi-cloud environments including AWS and Alibaba Cloud. You will be a critical member of a team that includes software engineering, QA, security, and platform architecture.

Who you are:

You have practical knowledge and demonstrable success in building and managing cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms at scale.

You enjoy working with distributed systems and solving complex infrastructure and deployment challenges.

You are able, with limited supervision, to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

You possess strong troubleshooting skills and can quickly identify and resolve issues across infrastructure, application, and network layers.

You are able to design and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments.

You are passionate about improving developer productivity through automation and platform engineering.

You actively mentor peers and drive adoption of DevOps best practices across teams.

You are a team-first type of colleague.

You do not shy away from writing code or scripts using Python, Bash, or other automation tools to improve efficiency.

Your Contribution:

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across AWS and Alibaba Cloud.

Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins to support rapid and reliable software delivery.

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar frameworks.

Drive automation across build, deployment, monitoring, and incident response workflows.

Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of services.

Ensure system reliability through proactive performance tuning, capacity planning, and incident management.

Drive DevOps best practices including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous improvement.

Establish standards for environment consistency, security compliance, and operational excellence.

Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve platform efficiency and developer experience.

Periodically report platform performance, reliability metrics, and DevOps maturity improvements to stakeholders.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering role.

Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Alibaba Cloud.

Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.

Proficiency in configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible.

Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools preferred).

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Solid scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).

Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across distributed systems.

Preferable skills:

Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

Experience with cost optimization and cloud governance practices.

Exposure to security and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.

Experience with blue-green deployments, canary releases, and progressive delivery techniques.

Familiarity with service mesh and microservices architecture.

Experience supporting globally distributed systems.

Education

B.E/M.E in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
