Calibration Technician - Electrical

Cascade Engineering Services is looking for an Electrical Calibration Technician, to support precision measurement and test equipment calibration. This role is ideal for someone experienced with electrical instrumentation, troubleshooting, and maintaining compliance with calibration standards in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate electrical test and measurement equipment

• Perform calibration, verification, adjustment, and preventive maintenance of measurement equipment.
• Maintain calibration standards
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of precision equipment
• Collect, record, and summarize, data during calibration
• Assist with Laboratory responsibilities such as procedure verification, uncertainty evaluation, and process as required.
• Identify equipment out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action by adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Communicate calibration results, findings, and recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
• Follow all safety, quality, and laboratory procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum AA degree, formal PMEL training, or equivalent

• Must be able to perform general mathematical, statistical and algebraical functions
• Must possess very good written and oral, communication skills
• Computer skills such as use of MS Word, Outlook and Excel
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of Calibration/Metrology experience
• Experience calibrating digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators

Pay Range

$50K/yr - $80K/yr
