Join Cboe Europe, the largest equities exchange in Europe, as a Principal Python Software Engineer. In this role, you will be part of a small, talented development team responsible for building and expanding the data pipeline and event streaming functionality. You will design and build highly reliable, testable Python systems to support Cboe Europe's trading operations, lead complex projects, and provide mentoring for other developers. A commitment to writing testable, maintainable code and a degree in Computer Science or a related field are preferred.
Missions
- Contribuer à la construction et à l'expansion de la pipeline de données et de la fonctionnalité de streaming d'événements de la plus grande bourse d'actions en Europe.
- Diriger des projets complexes, gérer l'implication des développeurs à travers plusieurs systèmes Cboe et participer à divers projets de R&D.

Profil recherché
- Highly preferred: Experience with TDD, BDD or other testing methodologies- Preferred: Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Snowflake
- A commitment to writing testable, maintainable code
- Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Preferred: Familiarity with data pipeline platforms such as Apache Airflow
- Preferred: Familiarity with Java
- Preferred: Familiarity with Web Frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI
- Preferred: Experience in one or more relevant financial areas (market data, order management, algorithmic trading, financial systems integration, compliance, etc.)
- Preferred: Familiarity with event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Deep Linux knowledge
- Expert Python knowledge
- Proficiency with advanced SQL techniques
