Cboe Global Markets is a derivatives and securities exchange operator headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, that runs options, equities, futures and foreign exchange markets together with clearing, market data and index services. Founded in 1973 as the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the first US listed options exchange, it is home to the VIX volatility index and operates exchanges in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia as a public company. It hires software engineers for trading and clearing systems, data engineers, trading floor operations specialists, regulatory investigators, legal counsel, risk managers and interns.
