Python Software Engineer

Join Cboe Europe, the largest equities exchange in Europe, as a Python Software Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with business development and sales teams to develop innovative products and features, design and build reliable Python systems, and collaborate with other developers in Europe and the United States. You will also participate in R&D projects, debug engineering and operational problems, and provide operational support for Cboe Europe's trading systems. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, along with solid Python knowledge and familiarity with event streaming platforms, Java, and web frameworks.

Profil recherché

- Solid Python knowledge

- Preferred: Familiarity with event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka

- Preferred: Familiarity with Java

- Highly preferred: Experience with TDD, BDD or other testing methodologies

- Preferred: Familiarity with Web Frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI

- Knowledge of SQL and an ability to compose complex queries

- Basic Linux knowledge

- A commitment to writing testable, maintainable code

- Preferred: Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Snowflake

- Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures

- Preferred: Familiarity with data pipeline platforms such as Apache Airflow
