Join Cboe Europe as a Senior Software Engineer, Web. In this role, you will design, implement, extend, and maintain web software functionality, ensuring high-quality market data is presented to our members and the investing public. You will also help with production operations, participate in team sprint planning, and mentor other software engineers. A strong knowledge of Python, Linux, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Django is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience developing high-performance, data-driven websites.
Missions
- Design, implement, extend, and maintain web software functionality, often requiring advanced knowledge and experience.
- Act as project manager for a feature across multiple parties, ensuring features are correctly implemented in certification and production environments.
- Mentor other software engineers and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more systems/technology.
Profil recherché
- Experience with MVC web frameworks (Django preferred)- Experience with Python or experience in another language with a strong desire to learn Python
- B.Sc Computer Science (preferred), B.Sc Computer/Software Engineering, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge
- Experience with Linux or UNIX-like systems
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with Python unit testing and full-stack web testing is a plus
- Familiarity with modern web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing high-performance, data-driven websites
- Experience with Apache, PostgreSQL, or ReactJS is a plus
