The Value of Active Minds

About CCLA

CCLA is a specialist investment manager with a long and distinctive heritage in responsible investment. We manage investments for charities, religious organisations and the public sector, helping our clients achieve their financial objectives while using the power of investment to drive positive change.

In February 2026, CCLA became part of Jupiter Asset Management, bringing together two active investment managers with a shared focus on delivering strong outcomes for clients. CCLA retains its distinctive brand, investment philosophy, client service model and mission-driven approach, while benefiting from the broader investment capabilities, resources and infrastructure of the Jupiter Group.

Our people are central to our success. We want to attract, develop and retain talented people who share our commitment to clients and our belief in responsible investment. We value different perspectives and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people can contribute, develop and do meaningful work.

CCLA is based in Victoria, London. We operate a hybrid working model, with colleagues typically spending three days each week in the office and up to two days working remotely. This gives our people flexibility while maintaining the collaboration, connection and shared sense of purpose that come from working together in person.

Background

The main function of the role is to participate in the production of all fund, segregated account, board and client reporting, and the oversight of CCLA’s external performance agents - HSBC and SEI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation, sense-check and detailed review of quarterly fund reporting / factsheets for investors and prospective clients, including qualitative and quantitative data inputting and corrections of any associated errors and edits.
  • Ensure all internal data and information deliveries required to support report production are requested from the business and tracked or chased to meet deadlines.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the content of all pooled fund and segregated client account reports is accurate. Ensuring that relevant information for other reports such as RFPs, marketing documents and statutory reports is consistent and well presented.
  • Update external reporting in-line with compliance requests, updating reports proactively to ensure they are compliant well in advance of quarter end.
  • Liaise with internal contributors to ensure that delays between teams are limited and managed and that data needed to support reporting is received in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the timely delivery of regular monthly tasks, including checking tasks completed by other members of the Reporting team. Ensure any issues or changes to deliverables are communicated to the Reporting Managers for timely resolution / authorisation.
  • Ensure all procedures are kept up to date and processes can continue to be supported as underlying data sources change through integration.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and assist in developing strong relations with other teams throughout the business.
  • Respond to and log requests for ad-hoc reports or queries.
  • Consistently review existing processes and identify efficiencies in line with best practice.
  • Represent the Performance and Reporting team in meetings and calls as appropriate.

Desired Skills / Experience

  • Experience of both in-house / desktop report publishing software systems and outsourced report production models.
  • Previous use of Vermilion or Kurtosys reporting systems would be a benefit.
  • Previous use of Morningstar Direct would be a benefit.
  • Good understanding of Performance measurement calculations and ex-post risk statistics.
  • Strong team player, robust, with a positive disposition with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience of establishing, maintaining and working within disciplined procedures and delivering to tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience working for an Investment or Asset manager would be a benefit.

Skills Required

  • Use of external and in-house report production systems.
  • Numerate and accurate, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to spot and correct typographical errors and poor use of language or data in reports.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, establish priorities and work with large, complex and detailed datasets.

Personal Attributes

  • Proactive attitude; seeks opportunities to learning and to support the team.
  • Strong sense of ownership, mature and resilient, with an interest in learning the mechanics of a process including the “why”.
  • Organised, professional and determined to succeed.
  • Collegiate, co-operative, constructive, e.g. a good fit with CCLA / Jupiter culture.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to speak to all areas of the business, if required.
