Our Technical Support team helps connect player experiences with the teams working on our games. We support players, investigate reported issues, and turn player feedback into relevant insights for teams across the studio. We're looking for a Technical Support Specialist who enjoys solving problems, digging into technical challenges, and helping players get the most out of their gaming experience.

In this role, you'll work directly with players to resolve technical and gameplay-related issues, investigate complex cases, and identify trends that help us better understand the challenges our community faces. You'll also collaborate with teams across the studio, turning player feedback and your findings into valuable insights that support improvements to our games and the overall player experience.

We're looking for someone who's curious, analytical, and comfortable tackling unfamiliar problems. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy investigating how things work, asking the right questions, and finding practical solutions. Clear communication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn are just as important as technical knowledge.

Daily responsibilities

  • Supporting players with a wide range of technical and gameplay-related issues, including complex cases that require deeper investigation.
  • Investigating reported problems using internal tools, documentation, testing, and independent research.
  • Identifying recurring issues, emerging trends, and high-impact problems, and ensuring they're properly documented, prioritised, and escalated.
  • Developing and improving troubleshooting solutions, internal knowledge resources, player-facing support content, and team workflows.
  • Collaborating with teams across the studio, including development, legal, and communications, to share insights and help resolve player issues.
  • Sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and supporting less experienced team members with challenging cases.
  • Managing your workload effectively while maintaining high standards of communication and documentation.
  • Continuously expanding your knowledge of our games, platforms, tools, and internal processes.
  • Bringing CD PROJEKT RED's values into your everyday work and collaboration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical support, customer support, community support, or similar roles involving problem-solving, investigation, and direct interaction with customers or users.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to investigating complex or unfamiliar issues.
  • Genuine interest in video games and a desire to understand the player experience.
  • Ability to gather and evaluate information, recognise patterns, test assumptions, and draw well-supported conclusions.
  • Good judgement when prioritising tasks based on urgency, player impact, and available information.
  • Strong collaboration skills and confidence working with people from different disciplines.
  • Willingness to share knowledge, provide constructive feedback, and support colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to document findings clearly and accurately.
  • Good understanding of PC hardware and software troubleshooting.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ticketing systems, bug-tracking tools, game testing, modding, moderation, or supporting players in gaming communities.
  • Knowledge of additional languages, particularly French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, or Eastern European languages.

How to Apply

Please attach your CV and cover letter in English as a single file. We’d like to hear more about what interests you about this role, why you’d like to join our Technical Support team and briefly on your gaming background. At the end of your cover letter, please include a brief 1-2 sentence explanation of the difference between a game remake and a remaster.

Applications without the required attachments will not be considered.
