Job details

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the water hygiene, Legionella or water treatment industry?

TWC Services are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow our customer base, develop existing relationships and identify new opportunities across the water compliance sector.

This role would suit someone who already understands the water industry, can confidently speak with clients about their compliance requirements and has a proven ability to turn opportunities into long-term commercial relationships.

What you’ll be doing

As Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of new business development while continuing to build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

You will:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the water hygiene, Legionella, water treatment and compliance market.
  • Build relationships with facilities managers, estates teams, property professionals, contractors and other key decision-makers.
  • Generate and manage your own sales pipeline from initial contact through to contract award.
  • Attend client meetings, site visits and networking opportunities.
  • Understand customer requirements and work with operational teams to develop suitable solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
  • Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities, activity and pipeline progression.
  • Work closely with internal operational and technical teams to ensure a smooth handover of new business.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity and opportunities within the water compliance sector.
  • Represent TWC professionally and build long-term client partnerships.

Who you are

This is not an entry level sales role. Previous experience within the water industry is essential.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous business development, account management or sales experience within the water industry.
  • Has a strong understanding of water hygiene, Legionella compliance, water treatment or associated services.
  • Understands the commercial environment surrounding services such as Legionella risk assessments, water hygiene monitoring, remedial works, sampling and related compliance services.
  • Has a proven track record of generating new business and developing accounts.
  • Is confident dealing with clients at different levels, from operational contacts through to senior decision-makers.
  • Can manage a sales pipeline independently and maintain momentum throughout the sales process.
  • Is commercially aware and comfortable discussing pricing, proposals and contract opportunities.
  • Has strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Is proactive, organised and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and is happy to travel as required.

Join us

You’ll be joining a business where your contribution matters and where professionalism, integrity and teamwork are genuinely valued. As part of the wider Celnor Group, you’ll benefit from group-wide investment, shared expertise and opportunities to develop your career as the organisation continues to grow.

Benefits

  • Company Car, fuel card and personal use allowed.
  • 20 days of annual leave including bank holidays.
  • Employee Assistance Programme offering confidential support whenever you need.
