Associate Manager, Collegiate activation

In-Office: Based full-time at CELSIUS® Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL

Travel Requirements: This position requires 15-20% travel.

Position Overview

As the Associate Manager, Collegiate Activation, you’ll lead collegiate marketing strategy and execution across an assigned territory, driving awareness, product trial, student engagement, and brand affinity for CELSIUS®, ALANI NU®, and ROCKSTAR® among college consumers. You’ll develop and execute regional collegiate marketing plans aligned with national brand priorities and regional business objectives, overseeing campus activations, sampling programs, university partnerships, and collegiate team development.

Reporting to the Manager, Collegiate Activation and partnering closely with Sales, Market Activation Managers, Collegiate Marketing Specialists, Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, and Experiential Marketing, you’ll translate brand strategy into impactful campus experiences, build long-term consumer loyalty, and use market insights and performance data to drive measurable business results.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in collegiate marketing, field marketing, experiential marketing, brand marketing, campus ambassador programs, or related marketing disciplines
  • Experience leading campus activations, student engagement programs, or grassroots marketing initiatives
  • Previous leadership experience managing student ambassadors, interns, or part-time marketing teams preferred
  • Experience working within CPG, beverage, lifestyle, sports, fitness, or entertainment industries preferred
  • Strong understanding of college consumer behavior and campus culture

  • • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by campus events and activations
  • • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods during activations and events

Key Responsibilities

Collegiate Strategy & Market Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive collegiate marketing plans aligned with national brand priorities and regional business objectives.
  • Identify priority campuses, student communities, and cultural moments that create opportunities for brand growth.
  • Build annual and quarterly activation calendars designed to maximize consumer reach, product trial, and student engagement.
  • Develop market-specific strategies that increase brand visibility and relevance among college consumers.

Campus Activation & Consumer Engagement

  • Oversee collegiate activations, sampling programs, sponsorships, and experiential marketing initiatives across the assigned territory, ensuring consistent execution aligned with brand standards.
  • Ensure all campus programs are executed consistently and aligned with brand standards
  • Drive innovative campus activation strategies that generate awareness, trial, and social engagement, and support regional and national campaigns through localized collegiate execution.
  • Support regional and national marketing campaigns through localized collegiate execution

Student Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage Collegiate Marketing Specialists across assigned campuses, providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Develop collegiate marketing talent pipelines and succession plans while fostering accountability, creativity, and executional excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and executional excellence

University & Community Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with university departments, student organizations, campus recreation programs, Greek life communities, and local influencers.
  • Identify strategic partnership opportunities that support brand objectives and increase campus presence
  • Support sponsorship negotiations and campus event participation opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and partnership requirements

Budget Management & Operations

  • Manage assigned collegiate marketing budgets with accountability for planning, allocation, forecasting, and ROI
  • Track program effectiveness and optimize investments based on performance outcomes
  • Manage product forecasting, inventory allocation, and event resource planning
  • Ensure timely reporting, budget reconciliation, and operational compliance

Performance & KPI Management

  • Monitor and report on collegiate program performance metrics including:
  • Total Consumer Reach
  • Sampling Volume
  • Campus Engagement
  • Event Attendance
  • Student Ambassador Productivity
  • Social Content Generation
  • Retail Conversion Impact
  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to improve future programming
  • Deliver performance recaps and strategic recommendations to leadership

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Regional Market Managers and Market Activation Managers to align collegiate initiatives with broader market strategies
  • Collaborate with Sales teams and distributor partners to support campus retail and food service opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, and Experiential Marketing teams to support national initiatives
  • Share campus insights and emerging consumer trends with internal stakeholders

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. Celsius is a total rewards company. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
